About the site

This gem is idyllically located on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park offering up stunning views of both the coastal range and Whitby Abbey. Guests will be keen to explore the seaside town of Whitby, the Yorkshire coast and surrounding beautiful countryside. The site itself is only 3 miles from Whitby in the village of Sneaton. Enjoy the cosy atmosphere of this small, members only site. The site offers the tranquility of the coast and country without being in the hustle and bustle of the town. There are 5 pitches on hardstanding, surrounded by grass, with full services including water, grey waste drain and electric hook ups. Pitches offer a view of the fields, the sea and Whitby Abbey.

Site is on a working mixed farm. Dogs must be on a lead and children supervised at all times.

Things to do on site and in the Whitby area

There are many walks from the campsite including the walk to Whitby down Monks Walk which is charming and unique. You're soon also at the seaside and there are many beautiful coastal paths to explore. Whitby Beach is a local favourite, or Saltwick Bay is the spot for fossil hunting.

Cycling at Dalby Forest is a treat, or take the cinder track to Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay or Ravenscar.

The neighbouring village has an ice cream farm and a traditional pub both a short walk away that you must try out.

The River Esk at Ruswarp is perfect for rowing boats and canoeing.

There's a delightful railway with trains up the Esk Valley to Middlesborough or a steam train to Grosmont, Goathland, Pickering or Whitby.

To stretch your wings further, make day trips to Scarborough, York, Guisborough or many more places.
