About the site

The site is a tranquil destination, perfect for a quiet holiday. Unwind at your pitch as you marvel at the views of Eryri (Snowdonia National Park), just a 15 minute drive away, or get out and explore the nearby coastline or the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. Tents, trailer tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans are welcome across the site's range of grass pitches. Either opt for one of the 13 non electric pitches, or chose one of the 18 pitches which comes with a 16 amp electric hookup. If you are looking for all of the amenities, the site also has five fully serviced grass tent pitches and six fully serviced hardstanding pitches which are suitable for caravans, motorhomes, campervans, tents and trailer tents. The fully serviced pitches come with a 16 amp electric and water hookup, along with a grey waste drain. All of the pitches welcome up to six guests, with well-manicured grounds and planting all around. If glamping is more your style, the site also has a charming shepherd's hut for two. The hut comes equipped with a double bed, bedding, linen, a single gas stove, a table and chairs, crockery, a toilet, sink, gas, electric and a wood-burning stove for those cooler nights. Outside you will also have your own decking area with a fire pit and BBQ, perfect for al fresco cooking. When staying on any of the pitches, fire pits and BBQs are welcome as long as they are raised from the ground. The site also has fire pits available for hire, great for evenings of toasting marshmallows! Up to two four-legged friends are also welcome in camping or parking up your tourer, so make room for the dog bed. Please note dogs are not allowed in the shepherd's hut. There are 38 seasonal pitches also onsite, each fully serviced and suitable for extended stays.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJun 2025

The owners were very rude to us upon our arrival, almost as if we were schools kids getting told off by teachers. The lady was extremely rude, immediately questioning why we had three people in the car with only one booking (we had multiple bookings). She was very blunt and generally rude to us, essentially telling us that she shouldn't let us in, shouldn't let our friends in who were running late (even though I called and explained that this would happen the day before). Show some friendliness and warmth to your guests, we are a group of young adults not looking to cause harm and don't appreciate being treated like a bunch of hooligans who you think are going to destroy your site. We tried to offer all the help we could give by giving them phone numbers to contact our friends, which they reluctantly took as if we were a nuisance to them. Overall service is as low as it can go. However we can admit that after the initial contact, they did not bother us, the facilities were nice and rather clean - warm showers included. The site itself was nice however is next to a main road which can get loud during the night. 2/5 stars from us.

Site's response

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your arrival experience didn’t meet your expectations. It’s never our intention to come across as unfriendly or unwelcoming — we aim to ensure a smooth check-in process for all guests while upholding the site’s rules to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. We appreciate you clarifying that you had multiple bookings, and we’re sorry if our communication at the time felt overly firm. We do our best to manage arrivals carefully, especially during busy periods, and we regret if this came across the wrong way. We’re pleased to hear that you found the facilities clean and comfortable and that you were able to enjoy your stay after the initial check-in. Your feedback is helpful, and we’ll reflect on how we can improve our approach to make all guests feel welcomed from the outset.
