About the site
Situated on the edge of Ashurst and dotted with ancient oaks, this family friendly campsite offers a true forest experience. Surrounded by the scenic trails and wildlife of the New Forest, yet just 15 minutes from Southampton and attractions like Paultons Park Home of Peppa Pig World, you truly get the best of both worlds. The site boasts 210 standard non electric pitches, ranging from open spaces to peaceful secluded spots amongst the trees. Each pitch measures 9m x 9m for up to six guests, with the option of grass pitches for tents and tourers, along with hardstanding just for tourers. There are also pitches available for seasonal use. If you want to leave the tent pegs at home, opt for the cosy bell tents that sleeps up to two adults and two children. Inside you will find a double bed, two single beds, LED lighting, flooring, a cool box, cutlery and crockery. Outside will be a picnic bench, along with a coal BBQ and utensils for cooking up a delicious dinner. Please note, bedding and cook equipment are not provided. Campers are also welcome to bring along their own BBQ, as long as it is raised from the ground and either gas or charcoal. Fire pits and disposable BBQs are prohibited. The site is dog free to protect nesting ground birds. Please note, the campsite is located just off the A35 so guests pitching near the road may experience a little noise.
The site is open between April and September and bell tents from 22nd May. Pitches from £24/night for 2 people.
