About the site

This back to basics, family friendly site sits in the heart of the Peak District National Park, making a handy base for keen walkers and cyclists. The Monsal Trail is just five minutes away, while Bakewell is a ten minute drive away, where you can sample the town's famous pudding! There are 50 non electric grass pitches for tents, trailer tents, roof tents, campervans, touring caravans and motorhomes. The pitches are unmarked, so you can choose your own spot and pitch up wherever suits you. You're well placed for exploring the Peak District, with Monsal Dale, Headstone Viaduct and the Monsal Trail all close by. Enjoy scenic countryside walks with the whole family - dogs included! Dogs are welcome onsite but must be kept on a lead and supervised at all times. Please note that they are not permitted in any of the facility buildings. BBQs are welcome, as long as they are raised off the ground. Or, if you fancy an easy meal, the Three Stags Heads Inn is just a ten minute walk away or head to Tideswell for fish and chips and more pub options. The site caters for DofE and private groups in a separate field.
