About Knotlow Farm
Welcome to this charming site, located on a farm on the outskirts of Flagg and in the heart of the White Peaks. Visit nearby market towns such as Bakewell, head to the majestic Chatsworth Estate, order takeaway breakfasts and enjoy homemade pizza in the evenings. During the summer, spot cattle, Dorper sheep and lambs grazing in the fields. There is a selection of non-electric spacious grass pitches for your tent or caravan, spread across two camping fields (family-friendly and adults-only). Six grass pitches with 16 amp electric hook-ups are also available. If you're looking for a bit of luxury and an outdoor experience with those home comforts, the site is home to adult only glamping pods made for two, each with their own hot tubs! The pods are handmade and sit just behind the farm buildings in their private setting. Each pod has two single beds (converting to a double bed), a kitchenette, cutlery and heating. Outside, the raised fenced decking houses a hot tub and a gas barbecue. Shared facilities are nearby. Dogs are welcome only on the camping field. No pets in the pods.
The campsite is open from 29th March to 30th September. Pods are open all year round.
Site facilities include toilet and shower block (hot showers 20p for two minutes), eco friendly toilets, electric sockets for hairdryers and straighteners and shaver point. Fire baskets are available for hire and wood/charcoal can be purchased onsite.
You'll also find a small shop with basic groceries and sweets. You can also order takeaway breakfasts (8am - 9:30am) and tuck into homemade pizzas in the evenings.
Nearby, the Bulls Head in Monyash is just a one-mile walk serving good food and ales. The Duke of York pub is just two miles away and also serves food and drink.

Highly recommend this site, all going well I shall return next April. Owners were very nice, site was very clean and it was situated in an excellent place for walking the Peaks.

The facilities were very spacious, plenty of them and very clean. The vending machines in the shower block were a nice touch and at reception they had a little shop with everything you could have wanted or might have forgotten to bring. Hosts were very friendly, the camping area was large and we had plenty of choice on where to pitch, since it was so quiet on the day we went.

Being able to have campfire was brilliant, would definitely go again. The site catered for all (family and couples) and it is set out very well with great facilities. The fire pit was great and location was fantastic.

Things to do on site and in the Buxton area
Head out and explore this stunning area in the Peak District. Arbor Low Stone Circle, known as 'the Stonehenge of the Peak District', is just a ten-minute drive away, and although none of the stones are left standing, the size of this major site is worth the visit alone.
Castleton, approximately 20 minutes from the site, has plenty on offer, including the ruins of an 11th-century castle and one of the country's earliest Norman fortresses.
If you fancy following in the footsteps of some of Jane Austen's most famous characters, head to Chatsworth House (a 10-minute drive) and stroll through the beautiful gardens before roaming through its corridors.
