Nestled on the edge of the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this award winning park enjoys a stunning setting close to the South Coast of England. Use the park as your base to explore the surrounding Dorset countryside or relax onsite with plenty of facilities such as a games room, which includes darts, pool, and table football. You'll find the idyllic village of Wool just short walk from the site, offering excellent pubs and delicious local food. The exciting Monkey World is nearby, too, for the whole family to explore. This stunning family run park offers a total of 45 pitches that cater for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Choose from grass and hardstanding pitches. Electric hook ups are available on 39 of the pitches. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times while onsite.

Whitemead Caravan Park is open from 14/03 to 31/10 in 2025 and 2026. Stay from £26/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding PitchesAug 2025

Stayed here last minute and can only say, what a lovely site, spotless facilities and great staff. Only one thing I found is the pitches are a bit cramped, especially if you have a 8m motorhome. Will definitely be returning next year.

Thank you for your review and positive comments, Kevin. We're glad you enjoyed staying with us. We're sorry to hear though that you felt that your pitch was a bit cramped. We know that, during the time of your stay, we were fully booked and all our pitches were occupied, which meant that you had neighbours either side of you but, compared to most other campsites, our pitches are really quite generous in size. The pitch you were on, for instance, is a standard hardstanding pitch measuring 13m in length and 6m in width (not taking into account the regulatory fire break between pitches) and should therefore provide ample space, even for an 8m motorhome. Maybe you'll feel differently about our pitch sizes if it's not so busy when you visit us again, which we hope will be soon. :) Kind regards The Whitemead Team
