About the site

This landscaped park enjoys a peaceful setting on the Somerset Levels. The site is perfectly located for days of exploring too, with the coast and Burnham-on-Sea only 15 minutes away, plus the attractions of Cheddar, Glastonbury and Bridgwater within 30 minutes too. For trailer tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes there are a handful of fully serviced hardstanding pitches on offer. Each comes with a 16 amp electric, water and drainage hook up, along with access to a chemical disposal point. The two paddock pitches are family friendly, set just behind the riverside pitches. The riverside pitches are adult only and enjoy wonderful waterside views over the Cripps River. For those looking to stay long term, there are seasonal pitches, along with lodges and static caravans. If you are a keen fisherman, the site offers two well-stocked fishing lakes available at a small extra cost. You can expect to catch anything from ghost carp to bream, perch, roach and trench up to 8lb in weight! Evenings onsite can also be best spent enjoying a delicious BBQ, as long as it is raised above the ground. Please note, open fires are not permitted. Four-legged friends are welcome to join you for your stay, with up to three permitted per pitch.

Cripps Farm Caravan Park is open all year round in 2025 and 2026. Stay from £26/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Riverside)Oct 2025

Site is beautiful and grounds immaculately kept. Easy no contact set up. Only complaint is the showers need better care when cleaning and the shower length for the coin operation is not visible. No warning as to when it will stop, so you can be left half way through washing when the shower stops. Never been on a fully serviced site before that has coin operated washing facilities. Motion sensor lights at night didn't always come on making walking to and from toilet blocks harder, especially when needing to use the disabled facilities.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Paddock)Sep 2025

A bit out of the way, but we have bikes so wasn't a problem. Site is very quiet. Shower facilities very good. Didn't meet the owners as they give you your pitch number on email prior to arrival. Very well maintained and pretty and if you're into fishing you're in for a treat! Has a beauty spa. We only booked 2 days before arrival, so it was fully booked for the treatment I'd have liked, which was a shame.

A note from the site themselves...

The Harris family took over this 56 acre dairy farm back in 1986. The site was farmed up until 1999 when there was an unfortunate decline in the dairy industry.

By this time, luckily, we had already established the site. The Mendip Lake was dug in 2000 when we built the static site and the Quantock Lake was dug in 2004. We have continued to expand since and are always looking to make improvements. We hope to have the chance to welcome you soon, Leah
