About the site
Set on the edge of the North York Moors in an outstandingly beautiful national park, here's your perfect base for a short break or longer holiday. You'll be able to stay adjacent to the theme park, so all the fun is close at hand. If you're looking to see it all from the freedom of outdoor living, with good facilities, there's space for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes to pitch up, and stay in easy reach of the action. The main camping and caravanning paddock provides 200 hardstanding bases, all with electric hook up. In high season (July and August) there's space for 175 more tents, in a second paddock. This grassland area has 40 electric hook ups and two further amenity units. For guests who love to be at the heart of the action, there's Fir Tree Lodge with a little more privacy. Here you'll have all the comforts of home with a private garden, spacious kitchen and two floors. Upstairs you'll find a master bedroom with ensuite and a twin with family bathroom. There are also a range of lodges with three bedrooms, a family bathroom with bath or shower and an open plan kitchen and living area. Lodges feature gas central heating throughout and a 32" TV, complete with DVD player. Holiday homes at Flamingo Land start from the gold package, including one double and two twin rooms to suit six guests. Platinum homes sleep the same number in extra comfort. An open plan living area combines a lounge and dining area, featuring seating for six guests, plus a thirty-two inch flat screen TV and DVD player. There's a fully fitted kitchen too, equipped with a microwave, toaster and a full size fridge-freezer. They also have a decked terrace. Platinum plus holiday homes take the luxury even further with a forty-inch flat screen TV and a Bluetooth sound system provided and a very spacious interior that includes a full size shower. These are picturesque area of the park adjacent to the golf course. Holidays in glamping accommodation such as holiday homes and lodges provide unlimited access to Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo, The Splash Zone and evening entertainment venues while you're holidaying at Flaming Land. Camping and touring guests receive the same in low season and in high season with a one-off admission fee.
