About the site

Just 15 minutes from Burnham-on-Sea, this site offers the perfect balance of countryside and coastal adventure, with the eight-mile stretch of Brean Beach just a 20 minute walk away. The River Axe flows through the site, offering fishing opportunities for perch, eels, and other species, while the onsite Farm Walk provides scenic views across the Mendip Hills. Little ones can enjoy the play area, complete with climbing frames and slides, before the whole family can grab a tasty meal at the cafe. A variety of pitch options are available to suit all types of campers. Non electric grass pitches (9m x 9m) cater for tents, trailer tents, roof tents, caravans, campervans, and motorhomes, while electric grass pitches include a 16 amp hook up. Fully serviced hardstanding pitches (12m x 12m) are also available for caravans, campervans, and motorhomes, with some offering private facilities. The site is well connected for exploring the local area, with a bus stop directly outside providing routes to Burnham, Weston, and Brean, as well as onward connections to Cheddar and Bristol. Dogs are welcome to join your stay. BBQs are allowed, provided they are raised off the ground. Open fires are not permitted.

Site rules and policies

Check-in is available from 11am until 8pm. Check out is by 10:30am.

Dogs are allowed, provided they are kept on a lead and supervised at all times. Breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are prohibited.

BBQs are allowed, provided they are raised off the ground. Open fires are prohibited.

Quiet hours must be respected between 10pm and 8am.

The site caters for families and couples only. Hen and stag parties are not allowed.

Things to do on site and in the Burnham-on-Sea area

Set beside the River Axe, anglers are in the right place for fishing! The river is stocked with roach, perch, chub, pike, carp, and eels. This is a free activity, but you must have a rod license and runs from 15th March to 15th June.

Alternatively, hop aboard the Coast bus, which stops at the site's entrance with services to Brean, Weston, and Burnham for beaches, beaches, and more beaches! You can also connect with buses from here to Cheddar, Wells, and Bristol for more sightseeing.

For family days out, Animal Farm Adventure Park is just a 20 minute walk away or head to Brean Theme Park within a ten minute drive, with fairground rides, waterparks, golf courses, and more.
