About the site
Located in Whitesands Bay, close to the beach and 2 minutes from St Davids. Escape the hustle and bustle of every day life and unwind in this idyllic location, just a ten minute stroll from Whitesands Beach, where you can enjoy surfing, kayaking and windsurfing. Explore the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, enjoy super spacious pitches and visit the charming St Davids Cathedral. The site features just 22 spacious grass pitches, with 11 including a 10 amp electric hook up. The hideaway pitches are secluded, offering privacy from other campers, while the meadow pitches are more open but still spread out, allowing plenty of room to relax and enjoy your stay. Campers are welcome on all pitches, with some also suitable for trailer tents, campervans and motorhomes. Awnings, gazebos and pup tents are welcome free of charge. Guests are welcome to drive to their pitch to unload and pack up camp, but cars must be parked in the designated parking areas to help protect the flora and fauna. All pitches have a designated shelf in a communal fridge and are complete with a picnic table. Please note, as this is a Greener Camping Club, guests will need to be members. Open fires are not permitted. BBQs are permitted but please make sure they are raised off the ground, and disposable BBQs are not allowed. Sorry, this site is dog (pet) free.
Dunes at Whitesands Camping is open from 10/05 to 23/05 and 15/07 to 06/09 in 2025 and from 23/05 to 28/08 in 2026. Stay from £40/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).

To protect the pitches and allow children and adults to play safely, parking is not permitted on the pitches. Two dedicated parking areas on the site are 50m to 120m from the pitches, and the site supplies wheelbarrows to help you transport your kit. Campervans are permitted on select pitches as long as they are slept in.
