About the site
Just five minutes from Pickering, home of the North York Moors Steam Railway, and Flamingo Land theme park, the site is well located for days of exploring. With Dalby Forest only 15 minutes away, Yorkshire's largest forest with cycle trails, mountain biking, walks and even GoApe, you will never be short of things to do! All pitches are handstanding and include 16 amp electric and WiFi, allowing up to six guests. Pitches are separated by hedging to give a more private feel and the grassed area is ideal for setting up your table and chairs for some al fresco dining. Pitches suitable are for campervans, caravans and motorhomes for up to six guests. The electric hardstanding pitches are around 10m wide with separating hedging and a grassed area for setting up your table and chairs, along with a shared water point. The serviced super pitches are also around 10m wide with the addition of a grey waste point, water connection and TV hook-up. If you want maximum space, there are three XL serviced super pitches. These are around 12m wide with a grey water outlet, TV point and dedicated water tap. The site is great for those travelling as a family. Little ones will be kept busy with a play park and games room with a pool table, table football, air hockey and arcades. There is even a crazy golf course, great for a family tournament. For evenings onsite, BBQs are also permitted, as long as they are raised from the ground. Alternatively, The Black Bull Inn is located by the entrance where you can enjoy a bite to eat or a local brew. Dogs can also join you for your stay, with up to two permitted per pitch. There is even a dedicated dog walk onsite!
