About Bryn Gloch
The spectacular setting for Bryn Gloch makes it a perfect destination for a tranquil outdoor break. At the foot of Snowdon, the site is ideal for keen hikers, with plenty of surrounding routes for those wanting a more gentle stroll. Tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes are welcome across the site's 10m x 6m grass and hardstanding pitches. All of the 200 pitches welcome up to six guests each, with the option of a 10 amp electric hook up or a fully serviced pitch with drainage and a water and 10 amp electric hook up. Why not try out one of the site's shepherd's huts. One of the shepherd huts (Gelert) come equipped with a double bed and a small sofa bed, along with a TV for cosy nights in. This unit is pet friendly. The other shepherd's hut (Llywelyn ) has two single beds and a small sofa bed, also with a TV. Please note, these are like camping without the tent. You will have to bring everything with you, from bedding to cooking equipment. For those travelling light, the Y Byncws (The Bunkhouse) is worth a look. It sleeps up to ten and beds can be booked individually. There are also static caravans available for hire. Pet free or pet friendly options are available. You can also enjoy evenings under the stars, snuggling up around the fire pit, just please ensure it is raised from the ground. Raised BBQs are also permitted. If no holiday is complete without your furry friend, not to worry, up to two dogs are welcome per pitch. Please note, breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted.
The site is open from March until October, the hardstanding pitches are available until January.
Facilities include heated shower and toilet blocks with large and private cubicles, a parent and baby room, and an accessible bathroom. There is a hot bath available for a small charge. There's also a laundrette, TV room with coffee machine, communal stone-built BBQ, games room and two children's play areas. Free WiFi is available on site. Fishing and bike hire are also available.
There is also an onsite licensed shop selling essentials, gifts and caravan accessories. A Lifestyle Express is also five minutes away, and the Snowdonia Parc pub is just a 20 minute walk away.

Highly recommend. Stunning location, the BBQ area by the stream is idyllic. Great, well maintained facilities and wonderful, friendly staff. Couldn't have stayed anywhere better!! We will definitely return.

We had a lovely stay at Bryn Gloch over the Easter Weekend. The location is amazing with beautiful surroundings. The site is so well kept, there was plenty of gardening going on as we were there, was nice to see new flowers been planted. The shepherd's hut we stayed in was perfect, very clean and nice and warm over night. The facilities available are spotless, and the shop is well stocked which is good as we forgot a few essentials. Plenty of walks available in the area and a nice pub down the road serving lovely food. I can't recommend this place enough and would love to visit again.

Great winter stay, very friendly staff with well maintained pitches and facilities. Small shop selling snacks and essentials on site, but if you want to eat out, it is a short drive away.

Things to do on site and in the Caernarfon area
Visitors to the Snowdonia National Park are not short of things to do. Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) is just 2.5 miles away from the site and numerous paths start from the park.
Despite being in the mountains, there are plenty of local beaches to visit, including Dinas Dinlle (20 minutes) or Black Rock Sands and its miles of golden sands (40 minutes).
Y Weirglodd Fawr is ten acres of land that have been left by the park to grow naturally and have now been designated as a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest). It's the perfect spot for a walk or to stop and relax by the river. Get lucky and you may spot an otter or kingfisher!
Fishing is also popular, either for trout, sea trout or salmon in the half mile of crystal clear river at the park's perimeter.
