Midsummer Caravan and Camping is well located for exploring, a five minute drive from Flamingo Land and only ten minutes from the North York Moors National Park. There are grass pitches for tents, as well as fully serviced hardstanding pitches for tourers. There is an onsite play park for keeping little ones busy, with the coast and Scarborough also within a 35 minute drive. Dogs are welcome too!

About Midsummer Caravan and Camping
A small and secluded site surrounded by countryside, with plenty of local walks nearby around the local village. For those with caravans, campervans and motorhomes, choose between one of the ten fully serviced hardstanding pitches. Each of these comes with optional 10 amp electric, water hook up, chemical disposal and drainage points. There are also ten unmarked pitches available for tent campers, each allowing up to six guests. Ideally located just a ten minute drive from the idyllic North York Moors National Park, you'll be able to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life with ease at this site. Two dogs per unit is welcome onsite just please keep them on the lead. BBQs are allowed when raised off the ground.
Midsummer Caravan and Camping is open all year round.
Onsite facilities include a washing up area, toilet, and shower facilities. There is also a play park for kids and a neighbouring field for walking dogs.
Ten minutes away in Pickering there is a Lidl for stocking up on supplies. For a good evening meal, there are two pubs just a five minute drive away called The Buck and The New Inn.

Just come back from 3 night break from here. Site is lovely & quiet, which was perfect for our son who has autism. Owners were really friendly & helpful. They even purchased all the kids on site Easter eggs which was really thoughtful of them. Location was perfect, surroundings were beautiful and definitely be returning again this year. Only recommendation I would share would be to update the chemical waste point. Really looking forward to returning back already.

This was the first time at this site, which has recently been taken over. Great location not far from the village with nicely set out pitches. Still a couple of things to sort out, like the smell from the water tank, which has been checked. We used bottled water to drink. The grey waste needed to have a way of rinsing out, which they are aware of and waiting to get sorted. Friendly and helpful staff.

Things to do on site and in the Malton area
Fancy a trip down to the seaside? Both Scarborough and Whitby are just a 35 minute drive away and make for a lovely day trip with long stretches of sand, perfect for sunbathing and swimming. Whitby also has a stunning abbey which is worth a visit, and Scarborough a dramatic castle.
Scampston Hall and Gardens is just a 15 minute drive away and has an impressive stately home and expansive gardens filled with a variety of fflora and fauna, a peaceful visit that everyone will love.
