About the site
A hidden gem in the North Yorkshire countryside, just ten minutes from the North York Moors and 15 minutes from the market town of Hemsley. Enjoy the 85 acres of the estate to explore and look out for occasional wildlife visits. Take easily accessible day trips to the Howardian Hills (25 minutes) or head to the Whitby coast in under an hour and explore Whitby Abbey. There are two lodges with a kingsize bed, an ensuite bathroom, a TV, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a private wood-fired hot tub for those evenings under the stars. Bedding and towels are included for your stay. A 20 minute walk will take you to lovely Oldstead village with a country pub and paths to explore the local countryside. The North York Moors is a ten minute drive away, with plenty of outdoor activities, peaceful strolls, and wildlife to spot. The Yorkshire Dales is an hour's drive with attractions such as Nidderdale National Landscape. BBQs are welcome in the fire pits provided. Small dogs can join your stay if they are kept on a lead due to the livestock.
