Cliff Farm Holidays is a friendly family-run caravan site that also has a couple of lovely glamping options. In the heart of Ryedale and just three miles from the quaint village of Pickering, gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors, a Dark Sky Reserve, this is a perfect retreat for those looking for a bit of peace and quiet. There are hardstanding electric pitches for caravans, a static caravan holiday home and a camping barn for larger groups.

About Cliff Farm Holidays
Situated on a 150 acre working arable and beef farm, Cliff Farm holidays is the perfect place for those looking to get back to nature and switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you're lucky enough to visit in the springtime, you'll even be able to meet the site's baby calves! There are 19 hardstanding pitches for tourers, all of which come with a 16 amp metered electric hook up and guests can pay an extra cost if they wish to attach an awning. The rustic camping barn is perfect for bigger groups looking for something a bit sturdier and sleeps up to 12 people. Electric heaters and a well-equipped kitchen are included and whilst mattresses are provided, it is recommended you bring your own sleeping bag. There is access to toilet, shower and wash facilities in an adjacent building. The static caravan holiday homes sleeps up to six people and has a double bedroom, bunk bed room, separate bathroom, central heating, double glazed windows, bottled gas and a well-equipped kitchen. The secluded, rural nature of the site gives guests a wonderful sense of peace and there are lovely trails around the site, which are perfect for dog walks as your furry pals are also welcome. With many exciting outdoor activities nearby, this is the ideal spot for a touring holiday.
Touring is available from January until the end of the year, glamping from March until the end of November.
Idyllic village of Sinnington is close by, where you'll find the Fox and Hounds Country Inn as well as The Sun Inn, two great places for eating and drinking. Sinnington also homes some delightful shops including Roots and Fruits Home Bakery and Pearson's Fruit shop, a local farm shop great for mooching around.

We had a great stay at Cliff Farm and would definitely return. We had an added bonus of seeing a calf being born.

Excellent place to stay, near Pickering and Helmsley with easy access by bus from Sinnington. The hosts were great and very helpful and the facilities were clean. Lovely to hear the farm animals and wildlife in the morning. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back - couldn't ask for anything more.

Things to do on site and in the Pickering area
During your stay at Cliff Farm Holidays, stargazing on a clear night is sure to give you some spectacular views, as the site borders the North Yorkshire Moors, one of the world's 17 Dark Sky Reserves.
Situated on a working 150 acre beef and arable farm, Cliff Farm, you could be lucky enough to see the wide variety of wildlife including some beautiful birdlife including lapwings, buzzards and sky larks! Early risers may even get to spot a couple of deer grazing and some delightful hares hanging out in the fields.
Three miles away is the quaint village of Pickering, the gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors known for its relaxing scenic walks. Whitby and Scarborough are also only a short 30 minute drive away, where you can enjoy the seaside and picturesque coastal walks.
