Prospect Farm Certificated Site is a a non working farm surrounded by arable farmland. Bring your tent or tourer and pitch up on a small range of electric grass pitches, open all year, and close to the village of Elvington where you'll find the fabulous Yorkshire Air Museum.
About Prospect Farm Certificated Site
Situated on the outskirts of the village of a Dunnington approximately five miles from the historic city of York, Prospect Farm is open all year round. Tents and tourers are welcome on a selection of grass pitches, with electric available. There's space onsite for up to ten tents or five tourers. Children and awnings all welcome onsite. Four legged friends are allowed onsite and there is a designated dog walking area to stretch their paws.

Site facilities include electric hook up points, recycling points, clean water and waste water disposal. Please note that showers and toilets are not provided.
There are two village pubs in Dunnington both offering food as well as a sports club. There is a cafe, a bakers and a well equipped cost cutter store with a post office and a fish and chip restaurant and takeaway nearby.

Things to do on site and in the York area
The park and ride into York is approximately three miles from the site. Head into the city where you'll find many attractions such as the magnificent Minster, museums and quaint shops to browse.
Eden Camp is around a half hour drive away, near Malton. If you're wanting to catch some sun by the sea, the East coast can be reached in about an hour by car.
The North Yorkshire moors are also well worth a visit.
Nearer to home, there are lots of local walks, a favourite being Hagg Wood which is particularly beautiful in spring when the bluebells are in abundance.
