Situated in a perfect area to explore the historic city of York or just 5 miles away from the stately home of Castle Howard. The coast is less than an hour's drive away or you can explore the magnificent scenery of the North Yorkshire Moors. York Meadows is set on the outskirts of a village called Sheriff Hutton, which is full of unique character, with the castle ruins dominating the skyline. Families are welcome.
About York Meadows Caravan Park
The park is situated on the outskirts of the village of Sheriff Hutton, which is a 1 mile walk to the centre, or 8 miles drive to the centre of York. Park and ride is available from Monks Cross Shopping Centre. Caravans, tents and motorhomes are all welcome and there are deluxe pitches, hardstanding or grass, with electric hook-up to be had too. A tarmacked site road gives guests a smooth route to their pitch! Seasonal pitches are available for long term stays and there are also holiday homes for sale on site.
Open from 1 March to 31 October
Site facilities are modern and clean, including a reception and shop area, toilets and showers with underfloor heating, a disabled bathroom and a laundry area. A microwave and pot wash area are provided along with a football pitch.
