Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesJul 2026

Basic facilities but incredibly peaceful and beautiful views of the sea and surrounding cliffs. Loved being so close to the farm animals, even if the cockerels were up a bit early for us. Be prepared for a walk to the bus stop but it's a small price to pay for a bit of solidarity and calm. Plenty of space for everyone.

A note from the site themselves...

Farsyde is a family-run farm, established in 1972 with 70 acres of grassland with low grass cliffs sloping down to the beach. You will often see animals roaming the farm including horses, donkeys and a small herd of Blonde d'Aquitaine cattle.

The dressage horses, which can be seen from time to time being schooled in the outdoor arena, have been bred on the farm, as have most of the riding horses and ponies. The ducks and hens strut about watching for garden goodies and the odd crust.

There is also an abundance of wildlife, including numerous hares, deer and swooping swallows. We also freed the farm from artificial fertilisers and pesticides since when we arrived in 1972, meaning you can see a great range of plant life and wildflowers. We hope you get to come and enjoy all this with us soon, Heidi
