Nestled in the heart of Ryedale is Wolds Way Caravan and Camping, a peaceful family friendly campsite offering grass pitches with 16 amp electric hook up for tents, campervans and motorhomes, as well as a handful of non-electric grass pitches in a camping meadow for tents only. Running alongside the site is the Yorkshire Wolds Way trail, a popular national trail showcasing the best of Yorkshire.

For family friendly camping and touring in North Yorkshire with plenty of walking routes nearby, look no further. Located just 15 minutes outside of Malton, a vibrant town boasted to be Yorkshire's 'food capital', the well manicured site offers 60 grass pitches with 16 amp electric hook up and a handful of non-electric pitches for tents only. Enjoy dramatic views over the vale of Pickering to the North Yorkshire Moors from the comfort of your pitch, take a stroll around the site's many fields or take a seat by the pond brimming with wildlife. Adjacent to the site is the Yorkshire Wolds Way trail, a national trail leading from Hessle to Filey via dry valleys, wildflower meadows, bustling market towns and ancient villages. The trail lasts approximately six days and trail walkers are offered a discounted stay at this campsite. The beaches of Scarborough and Filey are only half an hour away, with Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay slightly further afield. Campfires and BBQs are permitted, but the owners request that you use blocks to avoid marking the grass. Please enquire at the reception to borrow some if needed. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads around the site.
