About the site
A great location for exploring the southern area of the Peak District. Enjoy days on scenic walks along the Tissington Trail, take a dip in the onsite heated swimming pool, or visiting top nearby attractions like Alton Towers! Tent campers can choose between non electric and 10 amp electric grass pitches. For caravans, campervans and motorhomes, there is the option of 10 amp electric grass pitches, or 16 amp electric hardstanding pitches. All measure 7m x 5m and allow up to six guests. For those who don't want the hassle of hammering in the tent pegs, the site offers six bell tents, one for two people and five which sleep four. They come with mats on the floor, and beds are made up for your arrival. Outside, you'll find deck chairs for soaking in the sunshine. Or, you can ditch the tent pegs and opt for a stay in one of the site's cosy camping pods. Sleeping up to four, the pods included a double bed and bunk bed, plus heating, electric and lighting. Nearby you will also have your own self contained toilet, shower and washing up area. Bedding can also be hired as an extra. For evenings onsite, you can enjoy a fire pit or BBQ, just please ensure they are raised from the ground. Four-legged friends are welcome too, with up to two permitted per pitch or pod. There is even a specific dog walking area for them to stretch their legs! The site is also home to a range of holiday homes.
Pods are available from 6th March, pitches from the 20th March. Bell tents are available from mid June to the end of September. The site closes 2nd November. Pitches from £19/night for 2 people.
