The Coachman Caravan Park, Scarborough, North Yorkshire

The Coachman Caravan Park is exclusively for adults only and set just alongside the North York Moors, within striking distance of all the Yorkshire coastline has to offer. It's an attractive, well located spot surrounded by great golf courses.

About the site

In a picturesque setting between the moors and pretty coastal villages, the park is right by Snainton's amenities. Pitches are large and almost all hardstanding, each with its own water and 16-Amp electricity supply. They also include a night light and TV point, for which you'll need a 15 metre lead. A max. of two dogs are welcome to join you.

Open from 1 March to 31 October.

There is a Costcutter shop five minutes from site and a restaurant within a two minute walk. The site is on an excellent bus route and just a 10 minute walk from a golf course.

Things to do on site and in the Scarborough area

Whether you're a pro or an amateur, you should find the great golf courses in this part of the world ideal. See if you can get a hole in one and then try a bike ride through the national park.

If you're a fan of Heartbeat, you'll want to nip over to its setting, Goathland, and explore all those picturesque filming locations.

For cracking coastlines, great beaches and walks along the seafront at sunset, it has to be Scarborough. Scarborough has its own claim to TV fame as the setting for The Royal and offers tasty restaurants and excellent shops.
