About the site
A spacious campsite set just outside of Bakewell, in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside. The site is ideal for families, with Gulliver's Kingdom just a 25 minute drive away, and great for nature lovers too, being located in the Peak District National Park, home to walks, hikes, cycle trails, and more. Onsite, there are 45 electric grass pitches with a 16 amp electric hook up for tents, trailer tents, roof tents, and campervans up to 5m in length. Tourers can opt for one of the 140 hardstanding pitches (8m x 8m), each with a 16 amp electric hook up. All pitches hold uninterrupted views of the countryside! There is also a separate field on site, home to privately owned static caravan holiday homes. Days out can be enjoyed at Haddon Hall (10 minutes), Poole's Cavern (20 minutes), or the popular Carsington Water Visitor Centre (30 minutes), ideal for watersports, walks, and scenic views. Or head into Sheffield (45 minutes) for shops, eateries, gardens, galleries and more. Guests can also enjoy refreshing beers at the onsite bar! Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on their leads.
Grass pitches are open from February to October while the hardstanding pitches are open from February to December. Pitches from £43/night for 2 people.
