Hunters Lodge Caravan and Camping Site provides a peaceful adult only stay, ten minutes from Dawlish Warren Beach with great transport connections to Exmouth nearby. The site is home to a small number of electric grass tent pitches and paved hardstanding touring pitches. Within a 15 minute walk you can find the Starcross train station and ferry port, along with a range of pubs enjoying views over the River Exe. Dogs are welcome too!

This adult only site is in an ideal location for exploring South Devon. Set in ten acres of grounds, you will be just a stone's throw from the River Exe, with an onsite lake for spotting visiting wildlife. There are 16 grass pitches measuring around 12m wide, suitable for tents and trailer tents. For caravans, campervans and motorhomes, there are six hardstanding paved pitches, each around 12m wide with an adjacent area of grass for setting up awnings. All of the pitches include a 16 amp electric hook up, with up to five guests welcome. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to days out. The popular Exe Estuary Cycle Trail runs just past, with the Starcross train station and ferry port within a 15 minute walk for taking you further afield. Dawlish Warren Beach is also only a ten minute drive for making the most of the summer sun! Dogs are welcome to join you for your stay too, with up to four permitted per pitch. For evenings back onsite, you can cook up a BBQ, it just needs to be raised from the ground. You will also find multiple pubs within a 15 minute walk if you don't fancy cooking!

Exe Adventures offers kayak trips on the Exe Estuary and you can be collected from the site. You'll spend the day gliding along the stunning waterway, and they have sessions to suit all levels of experience.
Bring your bikes and enjoy the National Cycle Network's Exe Estuary Cycle Trail, which is a pleasant roll through Devon's countryside. A 15 minute cycle will also take you to Dawlish Warren Beach for a day of sun and fun.
The historic city of Exeter is also within a 20 minute drive. Here you can visit Exeter Cathedral, the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery, or simply stroll around the charming streets.
