Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Motorhome Pitches (Dog Friendly)Oct 2025

Reception were super helpful and accommodating when we checked in and enabled early check-in for us. They rearranged activities as we were late, very kindly. The pitch was lovely and grounds beautiful. The issue we had was at midnight, another family pitched up to camp with full lights on, screaming and shouting which lasted an hour and woke us up. It's advertised as a family friendly site which I felt it isn't, so that was a huge disappointment. I called the on call number and he came out but did absolutely nothing and couldn't have cared less, so we just had to put up with it. We won't be returning on this basis as we are a family with young children and that wasn't the experience we went for.

Fab last minute getaway

Small Tent - Non Electric Lake View Grass Pitches Aug 2025

Booked last minute for myself, 11yr and 7 Yr old. Did not do any paid activities due to height limits and pre bookings but still enjoyed our stay exploring the site. There is play parks, bike trails, wooded areas with rope swings, and giant chess for free. We stayed by the lake on a non-electric pitch. Toilets and shower rooms near by and kept clean. Drinking water available at multiple sites. We will return in the future!

Great for older families

Large Tent - Electric Grass and Earth Tent Pitches Aug 2025

Great site for families with slightly older children. We took our 5 and 2 year old and there wasn't much they could do, but one we would consider returning to when they are older. We did enjoy hiring bikes and exploring the trails. The blue trail is all downhill until the end so lots of fun. There was a lovely family friendly feel to site and the facilities were clean and well looked after. Plots were spacious and, although you couldn't park up next to your plot, parking was only a 20 second walk away. Staff were friendly. The 10pm noise curfew was well respected by other campers and communal fire pits were generously sized and plentiful.
