You can really get back to nature in the tranquillity of a secluded holiday at Setthorns - and lots of wildlife take advantage of the site's quiet atmosphere. Campers are often treated to visits by free roaming ponies and deer that wander among the grand oak and pine woodland of the forest.

The 235 pitches offer a mixture of grass and hardstanding, with optional electric hook ups.

Pets and non-members are welcome.

From the West, follow the A31 and approximately two miles after Ringwood, take the exit on the right to Burley. After the Shell Garage, turn right under the bridge. Travel through Burley and after approximately two miles you will see the Station Tea House on the right. Stay on this road until you see a blue and white 'Setthorns Campsite' sign. Turn right and the site is 400m on your right.

From the North and East, follow the M27 and exit at J1 on to the A337 to Lyndhurst. Go through Lyndhurst and at the Ferrari garage turn right onto the A337 to Brockenhurst. Get into the left hand lane and stay on the A337. You will pass Hollands Wood Campsite and the Balmer Lawn Hotel on your left. Keep going until you reach the Filley Inn pub on your left. Turn right here and follow this road. You will pass under two railway bridges. Turn right after the second bridge and Setthorns Campsite is approximately one mile on the left.

With a more back-to-basics feel, facilities at Setthorns are limited, with no toilets or showers. A chemical toilet is required when staying here. Chemical toilet disposal and drinking water taps are available.
With a Londis, Sway is the nearest local village at 1.5 miles away, and Brockenhurst is 3 miles away offering a number of shops including a Tesco Express.

The New Forest and surrounding area offers visitors to Setthorns campsite a whole range of fun activities and family days out to enjoy. You can go horse riding and cycling in the forest or head a little further afield to one of the area's many attractions.

Walkers are well catered for at Setthorns with many routes going directly from the site. There are also great days out for those wishing to travel a little further, including:
