It's the perfect base for Snowdonia National Park, and offers direct access to the Llanberis and Ranger Path up Snowdon. If mountains aren't your thing - don't worry, there are ample tourist attractions in the local area such as Zip World, Caernarfon Castle and Bounce Below!
About Glamping in Llanberis
With unrivalled panoramic views of Snowdon and the surrounding mountains, this is the perfect little hideaway for your Snowdonia holiday! If you are looking to conquer Snowdon - you can't beat this base, it's the closest campsite to the Llanberis path! A simple half an hour walk will find you a quarter of the way up Snowdon on the Llanberis Path. The Snowdon Ranger path is also accessible from camp. The Miners and Pyg are also easily accessible via the Sherpa bus from Llanberis village (10 minute walk). Each of the four well equipped yurts features a double bed and all bed linen, plus a day bed (in all except the Elidir yurt). There's a kettle for your morning cuppa with tea and coffee, plus electric sockets and cosy lamps to make sure you feel at home. To make sure things are toasty, there is an electric fire to keep you warm! There's decking outside with furniture and a space to kick back and take in the view. The yurts are perfect for couples, families and generally anyone wanting a countryside escape with plenty of comfort - and more of a unique outdoorsy feel than standard accommodation can offer! Three yurts are dog free, but the Wyddfa Yurt welcomes dogs. Campfires and BBQs allowed! Sorry, four adults cannot stay in one yurt.

Site facilities include a lovely modern toilet block, recently renovated and only shared by the four yurts. There are also free hot showers.

A cosy glamping yurt with one double bed, two chairs, tea and coffee, kettle, electric fire and sockets for charging phones. Sleeps two.
Glyder Yurt
Max 4 people
A luxurious yurt with one double bed, a day bed and pull out bed, tea and coffee, kettle, electric fire, sockets for charging. Sleeps 2 adults and 2 kids or three adults max.
Wyddfa Yurt
Max 3 people
A luxurious yurt with one double bed, a day bed/sofa, tea and coffee, kettle, electric fire, sockets for charging. Sleeps three adults. Dog friendly.

Things to do on site and in the Llanberis area
Fancy a challenge? It has to be the walk up Snowdon, the crisp mountain air in your lungs and the views that await.
The national park includes some of the most exhilarating attractions in the area - Zip World which is a zip line so fast it feels like flying and the unique trampolining at Bounce Below.
Dig deep into the history of the region at the Slate Museum and meet the rushing power of nature at Electric Mountain, with tunnel tours available and a playground for kids.
Wales has more than its fair share of atmospheric castles, so come and learn the intriguing legends of Caernarfon Castle, walk along its pretty harbour and get an ice cream.
