Tretio Caravan and Camping Park offers a selection of excellent pitches and three static rentals to hire, one of which is pet friendly. A family friendly park with a designated play field, climbing wall and a very popular 9 hole pitch and putt, it's an enticing base for adventures in the Pembrokeshire National Park and Wales' tempting beaches.
About Tretio Caravan and Camping Park
The park is just 1.5 miles from some of the most beautiful beaches, accessible by walking from the coastal path, local "Strumble Shuttle" bus service or a short trip in the car. Don't miss the cathedral city of St Davids which is just 3 miles away and brimming with local shops, pubs and restaurants. The surrounding Pembrokeshire National Park is a stunning area to explore and can be as peaceful or active as guests wish it to be. Find your base on one of a total of 47 pitches across two fields, all with 10-Amp electric hook-up. You'll also have the choice of pet free and pet friendly static holiday homes available to hire in a safe, peaceful and happy environment.
Subject to Coronavirus regulations, the site will open on the 1st of March and camping will be available until the end of October, static hire available until mid December.
Site facilities include free hot showers, ladies and gents toilets and family room/disabled facilities. There is a campers kitchen, free phone charging, ice pack freezing and use of a fridge and freezer. Guest have free use of golf clubs and balls for the pitch and putt, plus a climbing wall and designated play field which has football posts. Reception includes a small shop selling basic supplies and onsite Wi-Fi is also available (at a small cost).

Site rules and policies
Tretio Caravan park is a family friendly site and as such it has a noise policy which is to keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and absolute quiet between 11pm and 7am.
The speed limit for cars on the park is 5mph (walking pace).
Dogs should be kept under control and on a lead at all times and any dog waste picked up and disposed of in the waste bin provided.
BBQs are allowed but must be kept off the ground, bricks are supplied for this.
Children must be supervised on the play areas and the pitch & putt.

Things to do on site and in the Haverfordwest area
Tretio will host the Borderfest Wales event in June, a must for Border Terrier enthusiasts. Music nights are held in peak summer season and local pizza and burger vans will provide delicious food.
If you fancy a look at the smallest UK city, head to St Davids for where you will discover a myriad of quaint little shops and some of the best pub grub and restaurants in the area.
Adventure companies, based in St Davids and the surrounding Peninsula provide activities such as surfing at Whitesands Bay, wildlife boat trips around Ramsey Island and kayaking and coasteering at the popular Blue Lagoon in Abereiddi.
A more adventurous rambling spirit is easily catered for, as the park lies adjacent to both Tretio Common Nature Reserve and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, from which world famous bird sanctuary islands can be spotted. You can walk through fields and farm tracks to reach the coastal path within 30 minutes or jump on the local Strumble Shuttle to go further.
National cycle route number 4 is on Tretio's doorstep and there are numerous coastal and cross country walks to experience and leaflets, maps and brochures can be found at reception.
The nearest all year round dog friendly beaches are at Abereiddi and Porthmelgan (near Whitesands Beach). Abereiddi also has the blue lagoon which is popular for wild swimming and coasteering. You'll also find incredible fishing, kayaking and wildlife boat trips all within easy reach of the park.
Bring your bikes too, as the park is a stone's throw away from a great cycle path, so it's perfect for exploring on two wheels.
