Pleasantly surprised

Great spot to stay, with fantastic sea views. Choice of where to camp in a number of open fields. The campsite is relaxed and friendly, and everyone can do their own thing.

Amazing views

Amazing views on the sea and the cliffs around the blue lagoon. Loved the view and easy ride/drive to Saint David's and other scenic places.

Brilliant campsite

Had a 4 night stay here, staff were brilliant and campsite very professional, will definitely visit again, dog friendly also!

Fantastic view

A great campsite. The view is fantastic, so is the sunset. The site is placed so that you are overlooking the sea and as soon as the sun starts to set, everyone is out taking photos. It really is an amazing view. The staff are very friendly. The site is pretty big, so finding a decent spot is pretty easy. Showers are ok, but could do with a curtain to stop your clothes from getting wet. On my last day the shower was cold. Fire pits are allowed, so are pets. Light your bbq, chill with a glass of your favourite tipple and watch the fantastic sunset. You won't be disappointed.

Sorry you got a cold shower on your last day, I'm not sure what would have happened there, we didn't hear any reports of cold showers at the time (always let us know so we can get it right for you). I hope it didn't put a downer on your stay and that we get to see you again soon.

Outstanding

The view was incredible, the facilities were great, nice hot showers and very clean. The staff couldn't do enough for you and were so nice and friendly, I'd highly recommend this place and will be returning asap.

Cracking site with beautiful sea views!

Great site run by lovely people who are only too pleased to help. We hired a motorhome for the weekend and chose our own pitch on arrival with a beautiful sea view and settled in to watch the sunset.

First time camping with the other half and dog

Great campsite with amazing views, fire pit rental was an awesome option. Everyone we spoke to at Celtic Camping was friendly and straight forward. Hot water for the showers are included, just ignore the fact it comes out of a cold tap - it will be warm! Would recommend and stay again.

Lovely relaxing weekend treat

Beautiful park with beautiful scenery and the sea to look over in the morning. Good service, cleanliness let down in the toilets a bit but would rate this site very much still.

Relaxed, no fuss camping

This is a very relaxed site. No assigned plots, which has it's merits, particularly if you are going with friends/multiple cars. Plenty of facilities such as ablutions, firepits, indoor space with toasters/microwaves etc. The lack of assigned plots does mean that if you have a campervan (such as us) you are at the mercy of people's etiquette when you leave to go somewhere. Luckily it wasn't very busy but i'd be slightly concerned during busier periods that you may find your spot taken by the time you get back.

Thanks for your feedback. We're really pleased you had a good time during your stay and had plenty of space for all of you to stay together. We find that a lot of our campers during busy periods leave a camp table and chairs, or something to mark their chosen pitch. It seems to work, but if not, then you get a beautiful sea view from anywhere you chose across the campsite. See you again next time you're visiting Pembrokeshire.

Huge site

Huge campsite right on the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Lovely views all round and ample space. The best showers I have ever experienced on a campsite, hot and powerful - just what you need after a long walk. Staff very welcoming and helpful. The only downside, there is only one chemical waste disposal. That said, I will definitely be returning.

Fantastic site, amazing views, brilliant staff

From the second we arrived on site we were met by pleasant, knowledgeable staff. Not allocated a pitch so free to pick where you want - choose views or closer to facilities, the choice is yours. We had an issue with our electricity tripping but this was dealt with swiftly. Please remember you are camping so household appliances will overload the system. Ian was so apologetic for something that was out of his control and dealt with the situation more than fairly. The facilities are fantastic, the food available in the cafe was freshly cooked and plentiful, perfect of you want a night off cooking or a cooked breakfast without the cleaning up. The views of the coastline are amazing and waking up to the endless sea views is something that we will not forget. All in all, a great site where all of the staff are a credit to them. We cannot wait to return again in the future.

A wonderful view

The space was outstanding along with the views. The facilities were basic but adequate and clean, showers always hot despite the numbers using. The catering was also outstanding and the kitchen/service staff were very helpful and accommodating. If I had to make a criticism it would be about the difficult roads with grass growing down them leading to the site. Very hairy when meeting a giant motorhome! However I appreciate that is not something the Celtic Camp crew can rectify! The overall approach was very friendly, helpful and relaxed.

Beautiful location, friendly and helpful service

We had a fantastic stay here. The campsite is spacious, the facilities were really clean and the people were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. If you like walking it's an excellent location, being on the coastal path with the Blue Lagoon only a half an hour walk away. We were lucky enough that our visit coincided with seal pupping season so every cove along the path contained at least one seal and pup to watch. The camping is on sloping fields so all pitches have a sea view and it was lovely to watch the sun set over the sea. Will definitely go back.

Yes, we are blessed with a spacious site and as you said with stunning sea views from just about everywhere on-site, especially looking out toward Abereiddi and the Blue Lagoon - the evening sunsets over the Irish Sea on this side of the country are spectacular. We are also pleased to learn that you were lucky enough to coincide your trip with the seal pupping season. We are so lucky to have huge numbers of North Atlantic Grey Seals on our coastline and it is great seeing them thrive in this environment. Being sat just a stone's throw away from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path provides great access for anyone who wants to enjoy looking at the nature that we have on our doorstep. Obviously, we ask our customers to be respectful when it is the pupping season and not to disturb the seals. We are also really pleased to read that you are looking to come back - we have a legacy of returning customers, who appreciate what our site is all about and fully understand what a stunning part of the UK coastline we live in. We look forward to you returning.

Excellent campsite

Lovely campsite with plenty of space. Views were superb, staff helpful. Good amount of pitches and facilities were well kept.

Perfect for families, friends, or any other groups. This site is great and has everything you need. The views are great too.

Unlevel pitch, too many people

I was hoping for more but unfortunately it was a bit of a let down. We had to simply go and find a pitch, which was challenging and we ended up with an unlevelled pitch for our motorhome. There was quite a lot of litter in the hedges from previous campers. There was no shop or place to buy hot food and the nearest supermarket is many miles drive away. The view was great to be fair but access to any beaches was limited and you had to walk down a pretty treacherous step cliff to get down to a small cove. I feel that they simply want to pack in as many people as possible and felt there was not much help available or staff making it a more pleasant stay. Too big, too many people, not enough facilities. Would not stay again.

One of the things we generally get a lot of positive feedback about is the fact that we do not specifically allocate pitches, instead preferring to let campers have the freedom to go and find a spot on the campsite that best suits them and their individual requirements. For the peak season, this year we opened an additional three fields to try and help maintain a feeling of space for campers, so we are disappointed to hear that you did not feel this. Also, throughout the main camping season, we did have a catering team on site providing breakfasts, snacks throughout the day, and food in the evenings so hot food was available on-site throughout the period of your stay. Again, we are sorry to hear that you did not think you received any help from the staff. We pride ourselves on the excellent customer service that guests receive on arrival and throughout their stay, which is also something that is regularly commented on in reviews across many platforms. We are very lucky to be located right on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and to benefit from the amazing views. Aber-pwll, the tiny cove at the foot of the campsite, is a little gem which we do actively encourage people to visit but do try and manage their expectations regarding access to it, which can be a little tricky. However, having said that, it is part of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path that is walked thousands of times a year. We are also lucky that we are a short distance, approx 1.5 miles easy walking, from both Abereiddy beach and the famous Blue Lagoon, so we are well located to be able to access these lovely spots. Sorry to hear that you do not feel that you would visit again but if you did ever want to stay with us again, we would very much look forward to welcoming you back.

Stunning location! Out of this world, so much to see, to do & the pure peace & tranquillity is something we love. Nothing like being so close to nature & owners respect you for respecting what they have so beautifully created for so many to enjoy. Lets keep special places like this alive. Excellent facilities all-round

A good park with excellent facilities. The only negative is the sloping ground which seemed apparent for most campgrounds in that region. The staff were quite friendly and gave good information when asked.

We will keep going back - so much to like about this site!

The best element of this review is the fact that you are looking to come back - we have a legacy of returning customers, who appreciate what our site is all about and fully understand what a stunning part of the UK coastline we live in.
