About Quarry Farm
A family friendly campsite with stunning countryside views over the Vale of Pickering, ideally located just 30 minutes from the Scarborough and the North Yorkshire coastline. There are only 15 pitches available and ten of those have electric hook up. All pitches are set on grass and are suitable for tents only. There are also hardstanding seasonal pitches available for tourers. Unwind in peace at this rural campsite, perfect for those looking to explore the countryside and enjoy the surrounding area. Remember to say hello to the onsite farm animals, including cows and chickens! Dogs are allowed onsite but please keep them on the lead at all times due to the animals. Open fires are permitted in fire pits only.
Onsite facilities include toilets, showers, a washing up point, recycling and WiFi.
The closest pub is Grapes, 0.7 miles away with great evening meals. Pickering is just 20 minutes away with shops and restaurants.

Greeted on arrival by host. She kindly informed us where the facilities were. Shower blocks were perfect; new, hot water and really clean. Wi-Fi on the pitch was great. Great views.

A view to die for on a rather exposed, stony slope. Very difficult to peg the tent in (I guess the clue is in the name). Whilst the bathroom was well fitted, it was such a huge, wet room that having a shower felt uncomfortable, because every part of body not in the stream of water was instantly freezing! Would recommend the playground in nearby Ebberston.

Things to do on site and in the Scarborough area
Dalby Forest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is just five miles away and is well worth the visit for anyone looking to relax amongst nature. There are walking and cycling trails, as well as a fun packed activity centre with paintballing, archery, tree climbing and more!
The farm is situated right by the Howardian Hills, a lovely spot for some horse riding. There's beautiful views out towards the North York Moors too.
