Dog and family friendly, St Helens in the Park offers attractive camping, touring and cosy pods right by the North York Moors and in reach of fun at the seaside in spots like Filey and Scarborough. The park is full of thoughtful options, including super pitches, the choice of either a family friendly or an adult only pitching area, alongside pet free and pet friendly spaces.
The park brushes the edge of the national park and offers a pleasant, well-established and welcoming base with excellent facilities. You'll be pleased to hear that it's only six miles from Scarborough and the coastline, too. The site is divided into terraces which are screened by pretty and leafy trees, so that each area has its own character. For tent campers there are 33 spacious and flat pitches with no overcrowding, but without electric hook-ups. There are a total of two camping fields and a choice of pet friendly and pet free pitches so that everyone can have the best of both worlds. One field shares the children's play area and is very popular with families, while the other is in a quieter location closer to a tasty country pub and restaurant. For tourers, there are 100 well kept pitches which include electric hook-ups. If you're in search of peace and quiet relaxation, there is a designated adults only zone and you'll also find super pitches available. If bringing your home with you seems like too much hassle, try one of the park's purpose built wooden camping pods for hire.
