About the site
Brynhaul Brynhaul is sitting pretty as the highest campsite in Pembrokeshire! It's a quiet spot which is shared with just a few others and you can enjoy seven acres of gently re-wilding clover pasture fields, set on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. With only ten camping pitches, three hardened grass campervan pitches and two excellent self contained shepherd's huts there is no shortage of space. From the site, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Preseli Hills and the county's beautiful scenery. Large tent camping pitches are dotted within the clover field separated by long grasses, which give the sense of cosy enclosures. These are spacious so there is room for a big tent, gazebos, kids' tents and more. You'll also have plenty of space to stretch out and fly a kite, spot wildlife, toast treats on the campfire or just watch the dazzling sunsets. Pitches are non electric and each has its own waterless eco friendly loo, a fire pit, a table and access to a water supply. The site is generally a car free environment (cars are allowed for pick up and take down) so a safe place for young ones to play and there is a mown area for a kickabout and kite flying in the middle of the field. Lovingly designed and made by Steve and Elfrys themselves, the shepherd's huts offer a glam break with lots of comfort. They're set along the field's edge, each offering the convenience of a fitted kitchen, ensuite bathrooms, beds and comfy sofa beds. The shepherd's huts here even offer their own exclusive hot tub hire for the ultimate treat! One member of every party staying on pitches or in the huts must be a member of the Greener Camping Club, but you can join when booking at just £12 per year. Having lived here for many years (or since birth, in Elfrys' case!) Steve and Elfrys have extensive knowledge and experience of Pembrokeshire's outdoor activities. They're always on hand with suggestions and the site is centrally located for all of its 186 miles of Pembrokeshire's beautiful beaches, coastline and villages along with some of Ceredigion's too. The site allows a maximum of two well behaved dogs for camping and touring guests, however, they cannot accept dogs with their glamping guests. There is a dog walking area on site and plenty of lovely walks in the area for you to bring along your four-legged friend (besides dogs that has included a cat and a rabbit!).
