About the site
This eco friendly park is set on the edge of the North York Moors National Park and offers a welcoming base with excellent facilities and manicured grounds. It is also only 15 minutes from Scarborough and the coastline too. The site is divided into terraces which are screened by pretty and leafy trees, so that each area has its own character. For tent campers, there are spacious and flat grass pitches without electric hook-ups. One field shares the children's play area and is very popular with families, while the other is in a quieter location.. For tourers, there are well kept pitches which include 16 amp electric hook ups and a water tap. If you're in search of peace and quiet relaxation, there is a designated adults only zone, and you'll also find super pitches available, which allow RVs. For glampers, there are ten camping pods which save you the hassle of bringing your tent, you will just need to pack your camping and sleeping gear! These pods sleep up to four with enough space for two double sized air mattresses or camp beds. The pods have plug sockets, lights, curtains, a mirror and heating. Or, for something a little more luxurious, opt for one of the glamping pods, which sleep up to four. These pods are complete with an ensuite, a double bed, futon beds, a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Outside each pod is a private wooden decking area with furniture and a hot tub! There is also a luxury lodge onsite with three bedrooms, the double has an ensuite, and there is one room with two singles and one room with a bunk bed. The interior is open plan with a living/dining area and a fully equipped kitchen for all of your self-catering needs. Have a bite to eat at the onsite cafe, serving tasty meals and snacks with various themed nights often hosted (open in the main season from 8am - 3pm daily, plus 5pm - 8pm on Saturdays). There are outside dining options too, with a nearby restaurant just a five minute walk away, and further pubs within a short drive. Four-legged friends are also more than welcome, with up to two dogs permitted per pitch or glamping unit. The site is located amongst 7,500 acres, making it great for walking routes, with a private ten acre woodland dog walk onsite. You will also have access to a stainless steel dog wash, and there is even a dedicated dog bedding/coat washing and drying machine! Raised BBQs are welcome, but open fires are not permitted.
