Dog and family friendly, St Helens in the Park offers attractive camping, touring and cosy pods right by the North York Moors and in reach of fun at the seaside in spots like Filey and Scarborough. Choose between family friendly or adult only spaces, or pet free and pet friendly pitches. Or, for glampers, there are the simple camping pods or glamping pods with hot tubs! Onsite cafe serving great food, a dog walk and a dog and bike wash too!
The park brushes the edge of the national park and offers a pleasant, well-established and welcoming base with excellent facilities. You'll be pleased to hear that it's only six miles from Scarborough and the coastline, too. The site is divided into terraces which are screened by pretty and leafy trees, so that each area has its own character. For tent campers there are 33 spacious and flat pitches with no overcrowding, but without electric hook-ups. There are a total of two camping fields and a choice of pet friendly and pet free pitches so that everyone can have the best of both worlds. One field shares the children's play area and is very popular with families, while the other is in a quieter location closer to a tasty country pub and restaurant. For tourers, there are 100 well kept pitches which include electric hook-ups. If you're in search of peace and quiet relaxation, there is a designated adults only zone and you'll also find super pitches available. For glampers, there are ten camping pods which save you the hassle of erecting your tent- you will just need to pack your camping and sleeping gear! These pods sleep up to four with enough space for two double sized air mattresses or camp beds. The pods have plug sockets, lights and heating. Or, for something a little more glam, opt for one of the glamping pods either Danby which sleeps up to two or Wykeham which sleeps up to four. Set by the children's play park these pods are complete with an ensuite, a double bed, a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Wykeham has a pull out double sofa bed for the kids. There is also a luxury lodge onsite with three bedrooms, the double has an ensuite, then there is a room with two singles and a room with a bunkbed. The interior is open plan with a living/dining area and a fully equipped kitchen for all of your self-catering needs. Outside each of the glamping pods is a private decking with seating, a picnic bench and a hot tub! Dogs welcome. Why not try a bite to eat at the onsite cafe, serving tasty meals and snacks with various themed nights too. There is outside dining options too. BBQs welcome.
