About Springhill Farm Certificated Site

A small and quiet campsite next to a private woodland offering an array of wildlife from squirrels and deer to badgers and birds of prey. Boasting breathtaking countryside views you'll make the most of being within the idyllic North York Moors National Park. There are ten spacious grass pitches available. Six are level with electric hook up, allocated to tents up to 6m by 8m. Whereas the four supersize large pitches are on a slight slope and are suitable for the much larger eight to ten-man tents, only two of these have electric hook up. For caravans, campervans and motorhomes there are also five hardstanding pitches available. Each with electric and depending on your unit size there is a grass area or additional hardstanding space for an awning. You'll be interested to know that the sites drinking water is from its own private spring which historically used to provide the whole of Robin Hood's Bay and surrounding farms! You can also hire a fire pit from the site but it is recommended you book these in advance as they are limited and on a first come first served basis. Dogs are more than welcome with fantastic walks waiting to be explored directly from the campsite.

The site opens from 1st April till the end of November. However, the opening date may change depending on the weather in March, if late spring is mild the site may choose to open earlier.

A note from the site themselves...

We bought Springhill Farm in 2011 when our son was just 6 months old and turned an area of wasteland into a landscaped 15 spacious pitch campsite which opened its gates in 2014.

We have many regular campers who love our location, quiet countryside and the benefits of a smaller site. It's a delight to see many familiar faces and those we now call friends who visit us yearly and some even more regularly. Don't panic, we won't be in your face as we understand some of you just wish to get on with your holiday, rest assured we'll just give you a friendly wave.

Our love is for nature, wildlife and country living, with fresh spring water, fabulous sea breeze, amazing clear skies, stunning beaches, walks and breathtaking scenery. We know we're very lucky and would like to share our little bit of our heaven with you.
