Situated in the stunning landscape of the New Forest, Red Shoot Camping Park is your base for walks in the countryside or a day out by the South Coast at any of Bournemouth's sandy beaches. Grab a fresh loaf from the onsite bakery and shop, watch the youngsters muck around in the play area or take a trip to Paultons Park.

About Red Shoot Camping Park

Escape from the city to relax and unwind in a beautiful part of the New Forest at Red Shoot. This family run, and family friendly, site is an idyllic base set in the national park and is around a 30 minute drive from the coast if you're looking to laze on the beach. Help the little ones build sandcastles or treat them with a visit to Peppa Pig's world at Paultons Park. Accommodation ranges from tents and caravans to motorhomes and campervans with a choice of electric and non-electric grass pitches. For a bit of added luxury, choose to stay at The Byre - a stylish, two bedroom converted barn, or stay at the Bothy. Dogs are also welcome on the site so your four legged friend doesn't need to miss out on a holiday either.

Facilities and amenities

Site facilities include a modern shower and toilet block with underfloor heating, plus family and disabled bathroom, for which baby baths can be hired. There is also an excellent shop selling camping essentials, tea, coffee and groceries, plus a fresh bakery on site. You'll find a fun children's play area and an ice pack freezing service.

Things to do on site and in the Ringwood area

The site is just a stone's throw from many popular attractions that the whole family can enjoy. The little ones can enjoy running wild in the onsite play area while the older members of the family are just a short walk away from the Red Shoot Inn for an evening tipple after a day at the beach or a long stroll in the New Forest.

Make the most of the site's setting amongst the New Forest as you hop aboard a steam train taking you around Exbury Gardens or head to Paultons Park and take the kids to meet Peppa Pig as well as a few other familiar faces for the little ones.

Those looking to top up their tan are only a half hour drive away from Bournemouth's golden beaches or, if the sun isn't shining, head to the National Motor Museum in Beaulieau and admire the impressive collection of cars scattered across each exhibit.
