Set close to the small market town of Kirkbymoorside, known locally as the Gateway to the Moors, this attractive site is within parkland and based along the edge of the North York Moors. Ideally placed for pubs, cafes and more - you can catch the Moors bus and access the whole of North Yorkshire, taking in York and the county's heritage coastline. Handy for Pickering and the steam railway. Within 20 minutes of Castle Howard and Flamingo Land!

This small and welcoming site offers tall trees in its surroundings, a working farm for its neighbour and lashings of countryside all around. Lots of great walking and cycling routes in the area, including some footpaths starting very close by. Pitch up on level gravel pitches with optional electric available. Car parking is available at each pitch and water is close by. Each hardstanding pitch is very well kept and provides views down the field towards the River Dove. Well-behaved pets are welcome. BBQs are also allowed, provided they are raised off the grass. Fire pits are provided and you can pick up some logs on site to keep you warm of an evening. The site is a Freedom Camping Club CS and membership of the club for guests is free.

Major attractions are also in easy reach, with elegant Castle Howard only 20 minutes away and Flamingo Land an easy 15 minute drive.
For seaside fans, York and Scarborough are only 40-50 minutes away.
