Spend evenings gathered around a fire pit toasting marshmallows under the starry skies. Little ones can run off steam in the play park or get the family together and have a go at the site's crazy golf. There is even an outdoor cinema for unwinding with a film. Don't worry, on rainy days, there is a pool table and plenty of games to choose from. Tent and tourers can pitch up on spacious grass and hardstanding pitches with optional electric. Each pitch is unmarked, with up to six guests allowed. Parking next to the pitch is available, and four grass pitches are even set amongst the alpacas! Campervans, caravans and motorhomes also have the option of electric hardstanding pitches, each with its own 16 amp hook up. These pitches allow up to eight guests. The riverside town of Milford Haven is just five minutes away with a buzzing waterfront full of shops and eateries, or visit Tenby, 20 minutes away, with golden beaches, harbour, and even boat trips to spot dolphins and seals. Four-legged friends are welcome to join your stay, with up to two dogs per pitch. Fire pits are also available to hire, with sustainable firewood for pre-order. BBQs are allowed, but ground campfires are prohibited.

A note from the site themselves...

Born and bred in Pembrokeshire, and keen campers ourselves, we decided in 2023 that we wanted to take on a new challenge and give Pembrokeshire a brand new camping experience. We are Chloe and Neal, and we have five children who range in ages, so we understand the difficulties families face trying to please everyone when going on holiday.

Before we met, Neal was living off-grid on 30 acres of land, where he enjoyed getting back to nature. This was always something he was passionate about, so when he met me in a modern townhouse, he had to make a massive sacrifice, giving up something he loved so much. Obviously, I won that one.

After a year, we soon realised that we needed the outdoor space and freedom that he once had, so our mission was to accomplish this again. To be honest, I was never one for camping until I met Neal, and he showed me a different way of travelling and living. I was the type of girl who would much prefer to jet off to an all-inclusive resort in the sunshine for a week. How times change!

Neal has been a postman in Pembrokeshire for over 30 years, and I currently work for the NHS. We have both always strived for more, and what better way than to start a business we are both passionate about, something we have great passion for. After months of looking for a home with land for our family, we realised that something was still missing. That was when our site began!

Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

We had an fab stay, the location is great for all the areas we wanted to go to. The site in general is nice and clean, the play park was great for the kids. We arrived for bank holiday so it was insanely busy but great fun with the silent disco. The firewood for £12 for a small tray was overpriced, I'm sure you could purchase from a garage for a cheaper price. The facilities unfortunately were terrible. The boiler broke and so all weekend, there was no hot water for showers or washing up - they tried their best to put in a replacement but we didn't manage to get a hot shower for 3 days. A kettle for some hot water in the washing up area would have at least helped until it was fixed. There was no way near enough facilities for the number of people on site. We queued to wash up, queued for the showers and the toilets. The toilets were filthy and not cleaned daily. The doors didn't lock properly and we walked in on by 2 people. They didn't flush properly and were constantly filled up. Very dirty toilet roll all over the floor, there was the same mark of faeces on the toilet seat for 2 days. Despite the fact there is 2 big toilet roll holders in each toilet they had still run out. There was no hand soap in the men's toilets the entire stay. A sign shows new shower and facilities improvements happening in January, we hope that this improves the cleanliness too as it is a really lovely site otherwise. We would recommend this site was not to anyone in a tent as at least with caravan, you have your own facilities onboard.

Wonderful place, peaceful and relaxing.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches With AlpacasAug 2025

Lovely small site with little quirks that make it fun and interesting. The goats and Alpacas are wonderful, quiet and chilled, just so nice to see them settling down nearby for sleeps. The site was clean and well cared for with hedgerows for wind breaks, including some small birds for a gentle dawn chorus. Friendly hosts who are present around the site during the day. Toilets were clean and stocked. Temperature control shower with a good flow. The bathroom facilities are a bit cramped at the moment, but an update is due in January, it wasn't a problem for us, just a 1 person wait on the shower sometimes. A little outside bar and a barn with a pool table. A wood climbing frame for children an lots of play space in the middle. Altogether a lovely, chilled, small site.

Things to do on site and in the Milford Haven area

The site is home to four friendly alpacas, and you have the opportunity to meet, greet, trek, or even camp among them! After a safety briefing, you will meet the alpacas in their pen and have the chance to feed them while the site owners tell you about their cheeky characteristics! Then, you will be allocated your alpaca and begin the trek with plenty of photo opportunities. Suitable for ages 5+ (children 5-12 must be accompanied by a paying adult).

No worries if you don't want to trek; there are smaller group sessions available to let you get close to the alpacas in their pen. Feed them carrots and hard feed, learn all about them, ask questions, and of course, take some unforgettable selfies.

There is a crazy golf course, children's play park, outdoor cinema, pool table and games all onsite, so you are never short of things to do right by your pitch.

Milford Haven is a five minute drive away, boasting plenty of shops, eateries, and marina views. Pembrokeshire Coast Path is also five minutes away, with gorgeous walks along the coast. 20 minutes away is Tenby, with golden beaches, boat trips for dolphin spotting, and local brews at Harbwr Tenby Harbour Brewery.

Other nearby attractions include:

  • Pembroke Castle (15 minutes)
  • Heatherton World of Activities (20 minutes)
  • Manor Wildlife Park (20 minutes)
  • The Dinosaur Park Tenby (20 minutes)
