About Mill Haven Place

This is a tranquil eco site, with plenty of facilities to keep you comfortable - in amongst that getting back to nature experience of course! To that end, the site is small, with space for up to 8 tents and several glamping accommodations. This means everyone on site can benefit from a little privacy, or getting to know their neighbours, if they choose. Every pitch has a campfire and there's wood for sale on site so that you can have a proper, marshmallow roasting blaze every night. All pitches are on grass, for tents only. All the glamping accommodations are clustered around a very young, two acre woodland. They're all within sight of one another and so give a great sense of community, creating a very safe environment for families. But, each one can also provide privacy, if you're wanting to get away from it all. Home to three bell tents set on their own area of the site. Perfect for up to four guests, with a double bed and space for two more to sleep. There are two chairs and a table inside for you sit and relax. Please bring your own bedding, towels and camping equipment. The three yurts are great stays for up to four people, each with a luxurious king size bed and sofa beds and a hand made wood burning stove. You'll have use of your very own fire pit and kitchen area too. For something a little different check out the Cwtch Wagon, a small traditional gypsy caravan ideal for two with an elevated double bed. Outside is a fire pit and a private camp kitchen for you to enjoy. Add a touch of comfort and stay in the Vintage 1970's caravan. Beautifully furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen and a gas hob with a grill as well as a seating area with a bench and table. Ideal for couples with a comfortable double bed with bedding provided. Dogs are welcome to join you on a pitch or in the yurts. This site is part of the Greener Camping Club, and at least one person in the party must be a member, but this can be purchased when you book. Membership is valid for the year.

Camping is open 2nd May to 21st September. Glamping is open from 23rd May.

A note from the site themselves...

I am originally from Hartlepool and Lou is from Swansea, but we first met in East London where we both lived. I used to work in the music industry as a DJ and taught music production whilst Lou worked in the wig and make-up department at the Royal Opera House.

Lou introduced me to Pembrokeshire after having spent many a family holiday there and it didn't take long for it to become a firm favourite of mine too!

After having made the hardest decision to leave London and chase a life in the country, we found Mill Haven Place and then, of course, there was no looking back. Back in May of 2017, we became the proud owners and absolutely love sharing our little slice of paradise with guests. We both hope to welcome you here soon, Paddy

Yurt - YurtsAug 2023

The Ash Yurt was great- the beds were comfortable, and on the one night it rained, it was cosy with the wood fire and the loud sound of rain. There is a small covered kitchen area with each yurt, fully equipped with pots, pans, plates and cutlery, and gas burners. There's a composting toilet, two washing-up stations and a shower just for the yurt field, so we never had to wait to use any of them. The place is very peaceful, down a quiet lane that serves only one or two farms. The coastal path is a 10-minute walk away, and the beaches at Little Haven and Broad Haven are only 10-20 minutes drive away
