Brandy Brook is a remote, secluded and quiet site, the place to find a peaceful retreat away from the modern world. Situated in a pleasantly wooded valley which extends some sixty acres, it is surrounded by unspoiled meadows - through which runs a trout stream frequented by otters.
About the site
Pitches here are well sheltered, great for camping, and yet just 3 miles drive to the sea at Newgale. Since the site opened in 1962 it has deliberately not been overdeveloped, to preserve as far as possible the natural charm of this unspoiled rural setting. It is for the genuine country lover, offering only the essential modern conveniences. The aim of gradual development of the site has been to preserve the quiet, natural beauty of the valley and its approach roads as far as possible. Most visitors appreciate the charm and relaxation of a haven in the countryside, just a few minutes' drive away from Pembrokeshire's magnificent coastline and many places of interest. There is acres of space at Brandy Brook and no one is ever turned away because of lack of room. Booking in advance is not essential unless you wish to reserve a particular pitch - just drive in, look around and choose a pitch for the duration of your stay. There are forty tent pitches between the two main fields. For a last-minute break in beautiful surroundings, look no further! A great welcome awaits you - both from the owners and the sheer beauty of a tempting location.
The site is licensed from the Saturday prior to Good Friday or the 31st of March, whichever is sooner, until the 7th of October or the nearest Saturday after.
