About Pelcomb Cross Campsite

Just 150m off the A487, this family run and centrally based site offers a relaxing location with superb views across to the local countryside and plenty of room to give the dog a run or take a picnic down by the pond. The site slopes gently but most pitches are level and there is no risk of flooding should there be any heavy rain. Pitches here cater for tents, tourers, campervans and motorhomes. There's a combination of hardstanding with electric, fully serviced hardstanding pitches with 16-Amp electric and grey drain, XL grass pitches with electric and grass pitches with no electric. Some grass pitches slope gently. Should you wish to have your caravan sited on the pitch when you arrive, the owner will happily do that for you. The owner is onsite 24 hours to assist, should you have any problems. There is space to walk your dog in the field by the pond and, for longer walks, there are several big fields just across the main road. CCTV monitors activity at the site entrance for your security. Please note there is a pond onsite with deep water.

Pelcomb Cross Campsite is open from 02/02 to 05/10.

Facilities and amenities

The shower/toilet block is practically second to none with an enlarged cubicle in the ladies/gents offering more space to parents wishing to shower small children, and one cubicle in each facility has a 'comfort' toilet to help those who prefer this.

There is also a single toilet and wash basin at the top of the site. Washing up facilities are provided. A fridge freezer is also provided free of charge for guests. Fire pits and BBQs are allowed but must be raised up off the grass.

The Pelcomb Inn is just 100m away, as is the nearest bus stop. There is also a petrol station, convenience store and chippy just half a mile down the road. Haverfordwest has a train station and should you arrive by train the site owner will happily collect you and run you back to the campsite.

A note from the site themselves...

We finally opened the campsite in July 2020, having worked on it for almost a year. We are a well-maintained site, always looking for ways to improve.

We love to meet as many of our guests as possible, and more than happy to advise on what to do and where to go in the local area.

Motorhome - Hardstanding Pitches with Optional Electric (Manorbier)Apr 2023

First time visitors to this site with my motorhome. Plenty of flat bays with services to connect water electric and drainage for grey water. The showers and toilets are modern and spotlessly clean. There is a pub/restaurant 80 metres from the park, a chip shop and a fully stocked shop at the nearby petrol station. If you prefer delivery, there are Chinese, Indian and pizza shops that will deliver to the park for you. Locality wise, there are some great beaches a few miles away. I must give a mention to Chris the owner, an avery friendly, helpful and knowledgeable person who keeps the park in such a great condition. I would definitely recommend and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

VW-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches with Optional Electric (Panoramic)Apr 2023

Our 1st time camping overnight in our van with our very anxious dog & we couldn't have chosen a better campsite. From the minute we got there, Chris was on hand to make us feel at home. Toilet/shower/washing up/camp site facilities & surrounding areas were very clean the whole time. We will definitely stay again & recommend to family & friends.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Pendine)Mar 2024

The location was good for us, as we wanted to visit castles and St David's, we also went to the Iron Age Village. All well worth a visit. We used the bus to go to St David's, with a bus stop right outside the site. Owners very nice and helpful.
