Things to do in Tenby
The pretty seaside town of Tenby in Pembrokeshire boasts a variety of attractions for allcomers.
Beautiful blue flag beaches will delight strollers, families and nature lovers alike, with enticing options including Harbour Beach, Castle Beach, North Beach and South Beach. Tenby Harbour with its bobbing boats is also an attractive place to explore.
The medieval stone wall that surrounds the town is an architectural highlight, while you can discover what daily life was like in a Tudor household at the Tudor Merchant's House. Unfortunately St Catherine's Island and its 19th century fort is no longer open to the public, but the larger Caldey Island can be reached via a boat trip from Tenby Harbour every day except Sunday.
Families will have a blast at the Dinosaur Park, or visiting the variety of amazing animals at Manor House Wildlife Park. There's plenty of fun to be had at the Heatherton Sports Park too, which boasts a wide variety of family-friendly attractions including a high ropes adventure course, paintball, go karting and golf.
For the adventurous, there are plenty of coasteering opportunities in the area.

Nearby attractions include Carew Castle, Manorbier Castle and Upton Castle Gardens which is very pleasant to explore - as is the beautiful Carmarthen Bay and the striking Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Don't miss a trip to Saundersfoot, just a couple of miles away. The bustling village has a lovely beach and some excellent shops and restaurants. The 4.5 mile walk along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path offers fabulous views, particularly from the headland at Monkstone Point.
